Description
2 shock, shock ends, bolts, and pins
Proof of purchase is required (Invoice or pictures of the hinge and the shock).
The invoice or order confirmation email you received at the time of purchasing your original vertical doors kit is crucial for determining the appropriate shock size and pressure used in your original kit. This information is necessary to send you a replacement shock with the proper pressure. Otherwise, you will receive a new shock with the standard pressure specified for that specific kit.
Without an invoice or order confirmation email, in very rare cases, if the newly purchased shock with standard pressure is still weak and unable to hold the door up due to your vehicle door being modified or any other reason, you may need to cover the cost of returning the newly bought shock and also pay for the shipping cost of a second higher pressure replacement shock.
The privilege of purchasing replacement shocks is exclusively for customers who have directly bought the vertical door kit from us previously. This measure is taken to protect our clients from dishonest sellers distributing inferior replacement shocks that won’t work with our genuine kit. Our replacement shocks are designed exclusively for Vertical Door Inc products.
To proceed with the purchase of replacement shocks, please provide us with the following complete information. After verification, we’ll send you a link via email where you can finalize the purchase. Email us at (Sales@verticaldoorskit.com)
Options for Proof of Purchase:
Option A: Please make sure to email or forward us a copy of the invoice or the order confirmation email you received when you bought your vertical doors kit.
Option B: If you don’t have your invoice or order confirmation email, or if you purchased a vehicle with the vertical doors kit, you can send a picture of your existing hinge and the shock showing our logo as proof of purchase.
If you don’t have the invoice, it is not our responsibility; we won’t know the shock pressure that was used before. You will receive a new shock with the standard pressure specified for that specific kit. In rare cases, the newly purchased shock may still be weak and not hold the door up. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the newly purchased shocks in order to receive a stronger replacement shock and pay for the shipping cost of the stronger shock as well. Please note that all sales are final, and items are non-returnable. By placing your order, you agree to all our terms and conditions.
Please also email us the following information about your vehicle and existing shock:
- Year of your vehicle:
- Make:
- Model:
- 2 or 4 Door, SUV or Pickup:
- Were there any modifications made to the door (e.g., Speakers, Molding, etc.): Modified doors may need stronger shocks.
- Is the shock for the Driver’s side or the Passenger’s side (If you are buying one shock):
- Measurements of the Shock Body (either 4.5” or 5.25”). The shock body is the thicker part of the shock, not the shaft. If possible, take a picture of the shock beside a measuring tape or a ruler. Please measure the body of the shock per the body measurement photo.
